CT Senior Open Championships
The Wahoos had a very successful Ct Senior Open Championship! The team was overall Women’s Champions by a commanding margin, and combined Sr State Champions by 22 points!
Winning titles is an indicator as to how fast we swam! And, such a hotly contested team race really brings home how important every single swimmer and swim was for our team.
None more so than the efforts of our 13-14 boys (and their families) who raced and scored in all the relays. Even though our men’s team was as dominate as our women’s team,
virtually all our guys were unattached due to High School rules, so scored no points. It was the 13-14 boys who put us into the combined team title. Well done!
Further, we accumulated over 20 new Y National cuts on the way to our titles. Shelby Fortin and Christian Higgins were Individual High Point winners, and
Spencer Scarth was the Men’s Distance Champ which is awarded to the swimmer who scores the most points in the distance events. We are very proud of all your performances!
Congratulations and keep up the good work!
